unchaos builds privacy-first apps. Core personal timelines and insights stay on the device; optional connected features explain what they send and require the user's choice before they run.
NeuroPace, FoodSteps, StrainFlow, and Unchaos Life process personal inputs on the device. The apps do not send health, activity, meal, check-in, Screen Time, or location records to an unchaos server, and the apps do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs.
The apps may use information you enter, such as actions, check-ins, meals, readiness, workout assessments, context, and body signals, to generate personal insights locally. Unchaos Life can also read existing meal records saved in the shared on-device app container. If a user explicitly enables optional meal-text analysis, only the meal description they choose is sent to OpenAI; Apple Health records are not included in that request. OpenAI may retain API content for up to 30 days under its abuse-monitoring policy.
StrainFlow can read Apple Health workouts and routes, workout effort, activity and energy, distance, sleep, heart and respiratory metrics, oxygen saturation, body measurements, and time in daylight. Unchaos Life can optionally read Apple Health activity, sleep, recovery, body, and workout data; use Apple's Screen Time framework; and use location for movement context and Apple Weather conditions. Access is optional and is controlled through Apple's permission screens and device settings.
StrainFlow and Unchaos Life store imported and user-entered records in an on-device Apple app-group container shared with compatible unchaos companion apps. Removing only StrainFlow or Unchaos Life may leave shared records available to another companion app that remains installed. Revoking Apple Health, Screen Time, or location access stops future access but does not delete copies already stored on the device.
StrainFlow currently supports deleting individual readiness entries and workout assessments, but it does not provide one control that deletes every imported or shared record. Unchaos Life provides export and deletion controls for manual timeline data; automatic and shared records are managed separately. Because unchaos does not receive this app data, it cannot delete it remotely. Contact us for help identifying the appropriate on-device deletion steps.
App purchases, free-trial eligibility, subscription status, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are processed by Apple through the App Store. Unchaos does not receive payment-card details. Apple's own privacy terms apply to information Apple processes for these services.
