What does UnchaosWork do? How does it work?

The UnchaosWork App helps you reach your goals. You can work on your goals, organize all necessary tasks related to your goal and track your success. UnchaosWork is way more than a planner - it’s intelligent algorithms help you find the tasks you will be most productive working on with the personal prediction function. Of course, UnchaosWork helps you with all of your goals and is not limited to business goals. You can also track everyday life tasks and make your success visible.
 

How can I use the prediction tool?

Our prediction works completely automatic - you only need to tap on the Predtiction button or the wand symbol in the main menu. Based on the tasks you have already been working on, it will predict which of your upcoming tasks you will be most productive now.
 

Can I change my goals?

Yes, of course. You can re-name existing goals and create new goals. 
 

What is a task?

A task is a single action that brings you closer to reaching your goal. Every tasks needs to be attached to a goal. A task can take a few minutes or some hours. Some goals may require to do the same task multiple times.

Examples for goals ..
- find a new job
- plan a event/conference
- organize a project
- work on your hard skills
- work on a your homepage
- become more visible in your company
- plan the workload of your PhD
- learn something new, e.g. a new language, how to cook or a new kind of sports

A good goal is SMART: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely
 

Bad goals: „Get fit“, „loose weight“ „get a job promotion“  - they are not specific enought.
Good goals: „Run 10 miles in less than 90 minutes by the end of the year“, „Loose 5 pounds until July“ or „Get a Job promotion with at least 5% more salary than now“ may be more precisely.
 

For reaching these goals, you it is necessary to work on different tasks, e.g.
 
- go for a run, do strength training, do stretching, optimize your diet, …
- learn about healthy food, learn how to cook, take your time for sports, 
- learn how to manage a salary negotiation, practice to perform confident

Are there examples of tasks I can track and work on using UnchaosWork?

Common tasks related to job success that are easy to track with UnchaosWork can be
- prepare something
- write a mail/call somebody
- read an article to a topic 
- brainstorm for new ideas
- work on presentations
- do some research
 
Every goal is individual - just as the way to reach it. Don’t be daunted if your tasks are not mentioned here. Take your time for your own success story!culture by reading travel reports. If you know about your goals and visualize them, you’re more likely to reach it.

How many goals can I work on at a time?

For managing all your successes in life, you may work on several goals at one time, for example a job goal (e.g. a business project) and a private goal (e.g.  sports goal or learning to cook). You can also structure your daily life with unchaosWork, attaching remaining tasks to a maintenance goal. Goals are unlimited and you can work on as many goals as you want.

Can UnchaosWork help me structure my daily routine?

Definitely. You can use unchaosWork for keeping in mind all the things you want to dispatch. Whenever you got some spare minutes, the prediction tool will help you to find the tasks you can work on. Just give it a try and experience your productivity in a whole new way!

How many tasks are necessary to reach a goal?

Every goal is individual and will take different effort. Some goals my require more tasks than others, and some goals my contain a lot of big tasks, others my consist of small tasks. The better you can split your goal up into small steps and single tasks, the easier it gets to see progress. 

Can I change the due date?

Yes, you can always change dates. Just open the goal or task you want to edit and tap on the date. The menu will open and you can edit your data.

Can I set tasks routinely?

Setting tasks periodically is not possible yet. We are working on this and soon an update will provide this function.

Is it possible to synchronize my UnchaosWork tasks with blanc spaces in my calendar?

The idea on unchaos work is to - predict the tasks you can work on most productive at the moment - use spare time efficiently to reach your goals- keep your goals and tasks in mind for an organized life- make your success visible UnchaosWork is not about blocking working hours in your calendar. It is about using your time efficiently and finding the tasks you should work on for maximum progress. Though, we are working on this function and will bring this new function within a new App Update as soon as possible.

What is the difference between a goal and a task?

A task is a single action that helps you to reach your goal. Goals can be complex and they may require a lot of tasks. Tracking your tasks helps you to visualize which goals you have been working on most and keep in mind the next steps towards your goal.In the App,  the goal equals a main category, whereas a task is a single entity within the goal.  Everything we do is done for a reason. If you go for a walk, you probably want to relax or stay fit. If you read a book, you choose your book by intent - you can feel the deep romance of a book’s hero, you can learn how to cook new recipes in a cooking book or you can learn about about a new culture by reading travel reports. If you know about your goals and visualize them, you’re more likely to reach it.  

I am not sure if UnchaosWork can help me with my goal. What goals can I reach with UnchaosWork?

UnchaosWork can help you with every goal. Therefore it is necessary that you can split your goal up into different tasks. Like reaching goals in sports, it is necessary to have a routine and practice in different types of training. For running a marathon, long runs will be as important as sprints and strength training
